Workshop: Semantic modelling for MBSE

This workshop is already full.

Bram Bazuin (Lead Consultant & Head of Fields, Semmtech)
14:30 - 16:00 hours
This workshop will be delivered in Dutch. If there's someone present who doesn't speak Dutch, the presenters will switch to English.

Increasing complexity of built environment assets brings new challenges, and asks for collaboration between stakeholders in varying compositions. Traditional Systems Engineering approaches cannot meet the demands this puts on information exchangeability. Therefore, Systems Engineering in the built environment is transforming to dynamic digital ecosystems.

In this presentation we will see what such an ecosystem looks like, and how Semantic Models, Open Standards and Linked Data allow for better information exchange between stakeholders. Besides insights in the theoretical background, examples from practice and a demonstration of the solution that Semmtech offers to manage this issue, we will work on a modelling assignment.
